We’ve got specifications of the new McLaren F1 (P12) which appear to confirm our earlier reports on its power and performance. Update: It seems the source of this story – an article on Jalopnik – was actually based on a spoof. We’re not unaccustomed to car manufacturers launching branded products, and Christmas time always sees an increase in the release of non-motoring products to fill the stockings of owners and brand-dedicated enthusiasts. This year Lamborghini has surpassed itself. First it’s unveiled the Meridiist Automobili Lamborghini, a gorgeous mobile phone crafted in conjunction with prestige watch builder Tag Heuer, and apparently inspired by the LP640.
Vauxhall has released details of the engines for the new Astra
Vauxhall released a fair bit of information on the Insignia inspired new Astra back in May. That was followed up with video of the new Astra blatting round Millbrook and details of the new Astra’s interior. But with the official launch of the Astra at Frankfurt looming, Vauxhall has now released details of the engine range for the new car.
